Which Outlook PST converter is best for legal email archiving and long-term backups?

I'm evaluating different Outlook PST converters for legal archiving and compliance purposes. Our organization regularly receives requests to preserve emails for audits and legal cases, so we're looking for a tool that can convert PST files without losing any important information.

During my research, I found the MacSonik Outlook PST Converter Tool, and it seems to include several features that would be useful in this scenario. One of the biggest advantages is that it can export PST files into more than 20 formats, including PDF, MBOX, EML, MSG, DOCX, CSV, JSON, and others. Having multiple output options would make it easier to meet different documentation requirements.

What also caught my attention is that it preserves HTML formatting, MIME structure, embedded images, email signatures, hyperlinks, and attachments during conversion. In legal cases, maintaining the original appearance and integrity of emails is extremely important, so this seems like a valuable feature.

The software also supports migration of contacts, calendars, tasks, notes, and even custom mailbox properties instead of limiting the conversion to email messages only. That could be helpful when complete mailbox records are required.

Another thing I liked is that exported files can be saved anywhere, whether it's a local drive, NAS storage, external disks, or shared network folders. For organizations maintaining centralized archives, that flexibility is definitely useful.

The interface also appears to be simple enough for non-technical staff while still offering advanced features for IT administrators and migration specialists.

Has anyone here used the MacSonik Outlook PST Converter Tool specifically for compliance, legal discovery, or long-term email archiving? I'd love to know if it preserves mailbox data exactly as expected and whether the exported PDFs or other formats are accepted for official record-keeping.
