Things are always better in boxes than loose. Figure out how to pack up larger items that are strange shapes and get into boxes, cheaper to move fast and also easier to load in the truck than odd shaped things.

I moved several times and I organized my first move on my own. Do you want to live here? As I know prices are quite high in this city, so if you don't have good job with high income, better will be to choose some small town nearby. Some people might say that it's not safe to live in Chicago, but personally, I don't think so! Just check Chicago police news, they work quite effective in my opinion!
