Travelling to Bali next month with a group of friends

Hi all. Travelling to Bali next month with a group of friends, twelve of us total, and we're trying to organise one big day out that everyone will remember. Splitting into several small boats seems messy and expensive. Is chartering one larger boat for a group actually feasible, and roughly what should we budget per person? Also wondering if there's anything to do besides just sailing around - half the group gets bored easily.

Good day. Twelve is a perfect group size for a single charter, much better than splitting up. Look into Yacht Rental Bali options - there are boats taking up to twenty guests, so you'd have plenty of space. Regarding boredom, that was my worry too with our group, but there's snorkeling gear, paddle boards, fishing rods on board, plus sound system and karaoke on some boats, which our lot abused thoroughly. Split across twelve people the cost per head was reasonable, honestly less than we spent on one night out in Canggu. One tip: confirm what's included before booking, drinks and equipment vary between operators and routes.
