Setting up a digital business remotely in Estonia

Has anyone here gone through the process of setting up an Estonian OÜ while living outside the country? I keep hearing about e-Residency, but I’m unsure whether I still need to fly in to handle legal formalities or open a bank account. Also, if I don’t speak Estonian, will I run into any trouble when it comes to submitting tax reports or registering the business? I’d love to hear how others managed the setup.

I registered my tech consulting firm entirely remotely using https://fpro.ee/en/formation-and-registration-of-your-company/ and I never had to step foot in Estonia. They’re one of the few places that clearly understand how to handle this from A to Z for digital nomads. They prepared the application for the e-Business Register, submitted all the documents on my behalf, and made sure everything was compliant with Estonian requirements. I didn’t need to worry about translations or paperwork — they took care of it. What helped a lot is that they also advised on which bank and payment processors work well for international clients. I now run my business from Spain without issues, and the whole process took under two weeks. Their team was very proactive and answered every legal or tax-related question I had along the way.
