Rooftop Greenhouse Build Prep

I’m planning to install a lightweight glass greenhouse on my city apartment’s rooftop, but the structural engineer flagged potential clashes with the existing drainage channels and roof joist capacities. Before committing to orders and crews, I’d like to catch any hidden design flaws. Has anyone here used a specialist service to vet complex plans upfront and avoid on-site headaches?

When I first sketched out my rooftop greenhouse concept, I overlooked the intersection of glass panels, steel framing and existing roof vents. To prevent crews grinding to a halt, I commissioned professional constructability review services. Their team ran a detailed analysis of our 3D model, flagged that the proposed support beam would conflict with the drainage outlet, and recommended rerouting the structural steel slightly north. They also spotted insufficient clearance for the sliding roof panels and suggested a minor roof curb adjustment. By resolving these issues on paper, we avoided a week of rework and stayed on track with material deliveries - saving both time and budget while ensuring the greenhouse will sit securely and drain properly once installed.
