The Design Aptitude Test (DAT), an exam specially set by the National Institute of Design (NID), is not an easy battle to win. The exam requires a sufficient amount of practice and creativity to ace. NID is known for not having a set syllabus and they are considered to be unpredictable - breaking the pattern now and then. More than guessing the kind of questions that could appear, get into the habit of answering these kinds of questions. This will not only expose the process of answering these questions but also improve your speed. The exam is divided into two stages - NID Prelims and Mains. The prelims has two parts - MCQs (70 marks) and subjective questions (30 marks).
