Need Recommendations for Reliable Pool Resurfacing Service

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to resurface my in-ground swimming pool and could use some advice. The plaster is starting to chip and discolor, and I want to take care of it before it gets worse. I’ve heard there are various resurfacing options like plaster, pebble, and quartz finishes, but I’m not sure which is best for long-term durability and appearance.

Has anyone recently had their pool resurfaced? What was your experience like with the company you used? Any recommendations or tips on choosing the right contractor would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I had my pool resurfaced last year and went with a quartz finish—very happy with the results. It looks great and has held up well so far. It’s smoother than pebble and more durable than standard plaster. I used a local company called BlueWave Pools; they were professional, reasonably priced, and finished on time. I’d recommend getting at least three quotes, checking reviews, and asking to see examples of their recent work. I also came across https://www.swimmsolutions.com/pool-resurfacing-winter-garden/ during my research—they looked solid too. Make sure you understand the warranty details before signing anything. Good luck with your resurfacing!
