One of my friend was telling me that there are actually apps on iPhone that help some one make money. Do let me know if some body have ever heard of any iPhone app which can help us making money. Although this does not sound true to me but I am still curious because there are many things which we do not know but they exists.

Well, all it takes is an idea and the commitment/drive to make it a reality. Just look at Angry Birds. That was started as one guy's dream and he never imagined it would blow up to what it currently is now. So my advice is to gather a few friends and think of an entertaining idea, and then try to make it happen.
Also just a side note: I believe Apple charges you (not quite sure how much) for the app developer kit as well as just for submitting an app to the Apple Store. Android however, is open sourced, so costs should be little to none.
