I completely agree with you on the 'red flags' part, there’s nothing more frustrating than a contractor who tries to bulldoze over your vision, especially for something so personal. It’s actually a huge relief to hear that some teams are still willing to work with custom sketches and take the time for all those small adjustments. I’ve been sitting on a rough design of my own but was worried a larger company might just dismiss it as too complicated. Did they provide you with a digital mockup or a 3D preview before starting the actual work? I’d feel much more at ease seeing a final version first to make sure every detail is spot on.
