Is YouTube an IPTV?

YouTube is not considered a traditional IPTV service. IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) delivers live TV channels and on-demand content through internet protocols, often replicating the cable or satellite TV experience. YouTube, on the other hand, is a video-sharing platform where users upload, watch, and stream content on demand. However, YouTube TV—a separate subscription-based service available in select countries—does qualify as IPTV, offering live TV channels over the internet. So, while regular YouTube is not IPTV, YouTube TV fits the xtreme hd iptv category. The distinction lies in content type and how it’s structured and delivered to the viewer.
