Is my Brother on Drugs ?

Its been a month now his behavior has started changing.
From a normal teenage boy to a hyper one now. I thought it was normal. But he even often stays alone. He like staying up late and all alone.
If you see him, his face, eye bags, It looks like he haven't slept for ages.
I do not know what has happen to him. I did asked him if everything is okay or are you on drugs he just laughed at me. What do you people think. Why is he behaving like this ?
