How to Verify a Saudi Medical Report?

Hi everyone,

I recently received a medical report issued in Saudi Arabia and need to verify its authenticity. I’m unsure whether there’s an official government portal or a recommended process for checking the validity of medical reports. Are there specific steps, websites, or authorities (like the Ministry of Health) that handle report verification?

Also, do private hospitals provide a verification code or digital certificate for their reports? Any guidance on this would be extremely helpful, especially if someone has gone through the verification process recently.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Hi!

In Saudi Arabia, you can verify medical reports through the Ministry of Health (MOH). For government hospitals, use the Sehhaty app or the MOH website by entering the patient ID or report number.

For a Saudi medical report check, most private hospitals include a QR code or verification code on the report. Scanning it or entering it on the hospital’s website confirms authenticity.

If the report doesn’t have a code, contacting the issuing hospital directly is the most reliable way to verify it.

For Saudi medical reports, start by checking the basics: official hospital letterhead, doctor’s registration number, stamp/seal, and sometimes a QR code. Many larger hospitals and approved visa medical centers now include QR codes or reference numbers that can be verified internally or through their system.

A good first step is to contact the issuing hospital directly using their official website or phone number and ask them to confirm the report. If it’s for visa or official use, reports are often issued through authorized medical centers, so those can usually verify records in their database.

For extra caution, some people also get a second review through tools like Medical Report Check to spot inconsistencies before moving on to formal attestation.

If you need to use the report internationally, you’ll likely need certified translation + MOFA attestation + embassy legalization depending on your destination country.
