How to Find the Best Time to Post on LinkedIn

Hey everyone! đź‘‹

I've been experimenting with LinkedIn lately and realized that timing plays a huge role in how well a post performs , especially in terms of reach and engagement.

So I wanted to ask the community: How do you determine the best time to post on LinkedIn?

Here are a few strategies I’ve come across so far:

1. Know Your Audience: If your audience is mostly professionals or decision-makers, think about when they're most active — usually early mornings, lunch breaks, or right after work hours.

2. Analyze Your Insights: If you manage a LinkedIn Page (or even your personal profile), you can review analytics to see when your posts got the most impressions or reactions. It may take some testing, but patterns do show up over time.

3. A/B Test Different Times: Try posting the same type of content at different times over a few weeks — track what gets more engagement. This is especially useful if your audience is spread across different time zones.

4. General Best Times (According to Studies)
Some studies suggest these as starting points:

Tuesday to Thursday, between 9 AM – 11 AM (local time) tends to perform best.

Avoid weekends if you’re targeting B2B audiences.

But honestly, what works for one person or brand might not work for another.

What’s been working for you?
Are there any tools you use to track engagement or schedule posts more effectively?

Looking forward to hearing your tips and hacks!
