Beyond the Collegiate Stage
- Patrick has coached 20+ NCAA All-Americans across middle-distance, distance, and cross country events.
- He has guided athletes to multiple NCAA Championship appearances, including finalists in both the 800m and 10,000m.
- At Long Beach State, he made history by coaching Chris Low (800m) and Chris Enriquez (10,000m) — the first middle- and long-distance runners in school history to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
- Under his leadership, both Low and Enriquez qualified for the USATF National Championships, where Enriquez finished as the top collegiate in the 10,000m.
- Their performances earned them spots on the U.S. NACAC U-23 National Team, representing the United States internationally.
- Patrick has also coached over 10 athletes who advanced to the U.S. National Championships and Olympic Trials, proving his ability to develop talent beyond the collegiate level.
- His athletes don’t just peak in college—many continue to compete at the professional and national level. For example, Rosa Del Toro (a 9-time school record holder) signed with Brooks Running under Patrick’s mentorship, and Gabe Hilbert qualified for the U.S. Championships in the 800m.
