Hi everyone,
I'm part of the HR team at our company, and recently I was assigned to audit the email records of a former employee. We received a large collection of Outlook .msg files that needed to be reviewed for compliance and documentation purposes.
The challenge is that there are thousands of individual MSG files spread across multiple folders. Opening them one by one in Outlook is extremely slow, and searching for specific emails by subject, sender, or keywords isn't practical.
I also needed to:
I'm curious how others handle similar situations.
I'd appreciate hearing what has worked for others.

I also needed to:
- Search for specific conversations related to HR cases.
- Find emails within a particular date range.
- Preview attachments without opening every email.
- Export a few important emails to PDF for documentation.
I'm curious how others handle similar situations.
- Do you use Outlook itself for large MSG collections?
- Is there another workflow or tool that works well for HR or compliance audits?
- How do you efficiently search thousands of MSG files without opening each one individually?
I'd appreciate hearing what has worked for others.
