Help choosing a good cover for snowy climates

I’m based in upstate New York and looking for a tonneau cover that holds up well in winter. I don’t care much about looks, but it has to be watertight, easy to open with gloves, and strong enough to handle snow piling up. Any recommendations from other cold-climate folks?

I’ve been using the Solid Fold 2.0 from Extang for two winters in Vermont, and it’s held up better than anything I’ve used before. It doesn’t freeze shut, and the clamps are simple enough to open even with gloves on. The panels are rigid and strong — I’ve had several inches of snow on top with no sagging or leaks. The water runoff system channels melt nicely, and I never see pooling near the tailgate. I did a bunch of research before buying, and what really helped was reading real specs and install info on extangcorporation.com — way more useful than the generic dealer pages. I found detailed weight ratings, user videos, and installation instructions that helped me choose the right one for my needs. Highly recommend checking it if you want snow-tested gear.
