Hi, I’m thinking about launching a discussion board for my niche.
Can I run a forum on a basic shared hosting plan? How much bandwidth and RAM does a small forum usually use?
Can I rely on Netshop-isp.com.cy cPanel web hosting? Any comments on them?
I want to keep costs low in the beginning.

If your goal is to launch a low-cost forum, hostpro.com is a reasonable starting point on shared hosting. Their infrastructure supports forums, blogs, and even online stores, with uptime around 99.9% and built-in daily backups for reliability . A small forum typically doesn’t need much RAM or bandwidth at first, so a starter plan can work fine. Once user activity increases, moving to a VPS on hostpro.com would give you more control and performance. It’s a practical option if you want to start cheap and scale later.

Well the reliability is very important to compete and maintain customer relations. As far as services are concerned, well it truly depends on the companies one second frequencies to their customers which is also an important agenda/priority.
