I was going through some old notes today and found a small reminder about a project where we planned to try a QSFP-40G-SR-BD module. It made me pause for a moment because I never actually got the chance to test that one myself. Funny how these little details stick around in your memory even when the work is long finished.
Now I am a bit curious. If anyone here has worked with QSFP-40G-SR-BD, how did it feel in day to day use? Did it run smoothly or did it have any quirks that showed up later on? Sometimes these modules behave differently once they become part of a bigger system and I always like hearing real experiences instead of just reading specs.
