When most people think of financial planning, they think of retirement accounts, investments, and maybe even a well-organized estate plan. And while those are absolutely part of the equation, they’re not where I start with clients.
I start with a simple question:
“What does legacy mean to you?”
For me, legacy is about how you live—not just what you leave behind. It’s the relationships you build, the people you impact, and the values you pass on. That’s what inspired me to start Legacy Capital Advisors here in Atlanta—and it’s what drives everything we do.
Growing up here in Georgia, I saw firsthand what happens when families don’t have access to solid financial guidance. I also saw the strength and sacrifice it takes to raise a family with limited resources but unlimited faith.
Those early lessons taught me that wealth is not the same thing as worth—and that financial security can unlock a life of purpose when it’s managed with intention.
After earning my degrees from the University of Georgia and The Citadel, I began my financial career at a Fortune 250 firm. I gained experience, built client relationships, and learned how to navigate complex planning strategies. But as I rose through the ranks, I couldn’t shake the feeling that the industry was missing something essential: human connection.
That’s why I stepped away from corporate life and founded my own firm—one where faith, family, and financial literacy come together in a way that serves people holistically.
At Legacy Capital Advisors, we don’t just manage money—we help people define what they’re building toward. We ask questions about your family, your goals, and the impact you want to have long after you’re gone. Then we create a comprehensive plan to help get you there.
We focus on:
My Christian faith plays a central role in how I serve. I believe we’re all stewards of the resources we’ve been given, and part of my responsibility is to help others steward theirs with wisdom and generosity.
That’s also why I’m deeply involved in the Lupus Foundation of America (Georgia Chapter)—an organization that’s touched my own family. Giving back is a non-negotiable in both my personal life and professional mission.
And while I take pride in leading a firm that offers top-tier planning tools and strategies, what means the most to me is knowing we’re making a difference in people’s lives—not just their balance sheets.
My proudest role? Husband and father.
My wife and I are raising our four children right here in Vinings, Georgia, and I take the lessons I try to teach my clients and apply them at home. We talk about giving, about working hard, about saving, and about dreaming big.
Being a father reminds me daily of why legacy matters. It’s not just about providing for our families—it’s about preparing them for a life of meaning and generosity.
We live in uncertain times. Markets shift. Careers evolve. Family needs change. But with the right planning, you don’t have to navigate those changes alone.
I created Legacy Capital Advisors to be a place where people could ask real questions, have honest conversations, and make informed decisions about their future. A place where wealth isn’t the goal—freedom is. The freedom to live intentionally, to give generously, and to leave a legacy that speaks louder than any account statement.
So if you’re in Atlanta—or anywhere in Georgia—and you’re ready to stop guessing and start planning, I invite you to connect. Let's build a plan that reflects your values and supports your future.
Because legacy isn’t what you leave behind.
It’s how you live today.
