Liverpool FC!
It was back in my school days that I started following football when everyone was crazy about cricket. It was more in the family veins that got down to me and never left.
It was in Class 5 when I stumbled upon the English Premier League! One day after school, I was back home and watching TV when this particular football match popped up in one of the channels. The game was intense, one touch passes, people running like crazy. I just loved the way it was played :-D
Then it was my uncle who educated me about EPL and how the league goes on for the whole year and the team with the most points Win it.
But that particular match had this person, who was motivating his team to go on and win the game. He was in Red while the other team was in Blue ( it was Liverpool vs Chelsea). I just fell for that man — Steven Gerrard!
Then came the UEFA Champions League Final of Istanbul! Words don't count for that cracker of a football match!
As time went on I started reading and learning more about the club. The rich history, the most prolific strikers — Ian Rush, Kenney Dalglish,the very intimidating home ground — Anfield and more than that — The Kop singing YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE!
Things just connected and this love affair has been going on ever since.
Many people troll and laugh at me for supporting Liverpool.
It's cause of the Love that we fans have for our Club!
Time went on, people came and went — Fernando Torres, Luis Suarez to name the best of them.
Now we have a very young and dynamic squad growing in leaps and bounds under our new manager — Jurgen Klopp!
The current set of players will truly bring back the golden era of Liverpool back to Anfield!
Steven Gerrard has been my role model for his — Loyalty, Passion, Leadership Quality and much more!
