As we know this May Google is going with the new update of mobile friendly algorithm that would affects the ranking of website in mobile searches. Therefore my question is that does we should make our website mobile friendly? As it cost extra to spend for designing and development of Responsive website.

Yes, it will be an added feature to the businesses if they make their website a responsive one. Today people are relying on mobile devices for browsing through the Internet and search for all information. So making a website as a mobile friendly will be like a mandate criteria with the new Google update of checking a website's responsiveness.
I would recommend for the website owners to make their websites responsive though it costs , because sooner or later their responsive website will definitely bring success to their doorsteps.
