Does anyone know a working way to receive SMS without your number?

Guys, here's the thing - I needed to register on a website, but I didn't want to give away my number. Are there any live services where you can just get an SMS online, for free and without dancing with a tambourine?
 
I had the same problem! I googled some random sites - half of them are dead, the other half are spammed later. I need something normal. Please suggest me something sensible.
 
Hi I use https://receive-sms.io/ — it's the best! It really works: you fly in, choose a number, put it where you need to — and you catch an SMS right on the site. Everything is clear, without registration and all sorts of nonsense. Sometimes it helps out like crazy, especially when you need to quickly activate something without a visible number.
