Exploring Alanya on two wheels

Heading to Alanya for a couple of weeks and I'm trying to plan out my transport. I've heard the downtown area is a bit of a cluster for cars and parking is basically non-existent near the harbor. I'm leaning towards renting a scooter to get around the local spots and maybe hit the castle. Does that actually make sense or is it too much of a hassle?

The coastal road gets absolutely packed with tourist buses and taxis once the season kicks in. Trying to find a parking spot anywhere near the harbor is basically a losing game for most of the day. A bike lets you skip the worst of the congestion and find those quiet spots further down the shore. Just stay alert for the local driving style since it can be a bit unpredictable.

The climb up to the castle is a total beast if you're trying to do it on foot in that humidity. Most of the hidden gems along the coast are way easier to reach when you can just pull over whenever you see a nice view. You can check out various options for scooter rental in Alanya here https://getrentacar.com/en-US/motorcycle-rental/turkey-alanya .
