Does it matter where you get your domain?

Does it matter where you get your domain? I just got one with GoDaddy and I think I paid around USD for the whole year. I'm curious what's the difference with those that are more expensive.

Well, it all depends on when you purchase and what you can do to your domain. Sometimes, some people purchase with a promo coupon that would enable them to buy less.

Also, a domain could be less or more depending on if you have access to DNS managers and stuffs alike. However, the general price fee from one seller to another varies with 50cents to 1 dollar. But either way domain name is not expensive except you are paying for an auctioned one.

I've noticed that about auctioned domains. Is the price because they have essentially, made names for themselves before? I'm going to check what the features are of what I got.

Yeah, the price is because they've made names for them before like they've been around for sometime and they have traffic already. However, it's not always about that. Sometimes it's just the need of the buyer.

The price of a domain depends on the features included, the company you're purchasing from etc... Namecheap is generally the cheapest for domains, and at the same time provides several extra features such as free privacy for one-year, $1.99 SSL security, yet is still cheaper on average compared to other domain registras.

The 2USD was a special offer from GoDaddy. They run several coupons throughout the month. GoDaddy makes up the difference with higher renewal fees and upsells. They upsell like crazy.

Namecheap is my domain registrar of choice. They offer free whois privacy for the first year. Namecheap offers monthly coupons, but the domains will run around $9. If you like Namecheap on Facebook and follow them on Twitter, you can get the inside scoop on their 98cent domain deals. ;)

I love LEO Privacy, it is what I was looking for and it is secure because it tells when someone tries to get in to your phone apps and stuff which is awsome it's like your personal cop.

yes I purchase from whois and its the best site and you know what is the bad thing about godaddy if you search any domain there and dont register within 24 hours they purchase it itself if its a good domain name so never search on godaddy

Obviously I like your web site, but you have to take a look at the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very bothersome to inform you. Nevertheless I will surely come again again! castro cvv
