    How To Speed Up Firefox

Been using firefox for last 3 years now and also i update it every times when ever Firefox prompts that the new version of Firefox is available for download. Although i have the latest version which i suppose must be fastest because they claim that they keep on fixing bugs and speed performance issues with every new release but i am facing that my firefox have become very slow and it is really painful when a website takes like a minute just to load. Videos and other animations on the website are taking ages to load now on my fire fox browser.

Please tell me what steps should i take if i want to speed up my Firefox browser. The other option is to stop using it altogether and start using another one like chrome or Internet explorer. Please tell me your say on this sluggishness issue of my browser.

    Mozilla Firefox

Jindo-Webmaster is right. Add-on or Plug-in and cookies will slow down the speed of browser. So it is advisable to remove all the cookies & history of the browser time-to-time and uninstall less necessary Plug-ins to Speed Up Mozilla Firefox.
