You can rank without backlinks. (okay you need a little to make sure the search engines are acturally paying attention to you)
If you target low competition super longtail keywords in small niches. But I'm talking longtail search terms with 7-8 words.

automatically? Are you serious?

Find a keyword with at least 1000 searches per month: This is low enough to keep things less competitive but high enough to get some traffic and hopefully some income. In addition, I want to pick a keyword which provides me further options for other secondary keywords.

Pick a domain I have already register or one that has been registered for at least a year: I, and you should not want to spend $300 on an aged domain name unless you are really invested in making it an authority website. Here, I am simply trying to rank this website without any backlinks. Now, the reason I do want a domain already registered is because it, if parked or with some content, already has some traction.

Why set a mininum of 1000 searches per month. You can go way way way lower than that and instead focus on lost of longtail keywords per page.
I would say close to no minimum and the have lots of longtail keywords on the landing pages. This will in the long run get you more and better traffic with way less competition.

A website rank in search engines without backlinks is not possible, you can get Alexa rank based on traffic of website.

All pages on you site should have text links to them, not just graphics. And it helps if those text links say something other than "click here".
Offer your readers a site map of your site. But make sure that it has less than 100 links per page.
