PageRank is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web.
SERP means Search Engine Ranking Page. This is what you look at multiple times a day. It’s the (first) page of results Google gives you when you are searching for a keyword or a keyword combination.

PR or also known now as "Authority" is used to measure the quality of a site while SERP on the other hand is the position of a certain site on a result page for a keyword used on search.

Re: What is the difference between PR (page rank) and SERP (Search engine result page

PageRank provides a means to determine the value of a website for any given search term or keyword phrase.PageRank was developed, in order to create an algorithm for Google that would allow the website to rank all web pages based on merit.
A Search Engine Results Page (SERP) is the listing of websites returned when you enter a query into a search engine. The results might include a list of websites with different titles, a link to the page as well as a brief description displaying where the keywords have matched content within said page.

Re: What is the difference between PR (page rank) and SERP (Search engine result page

PageRank is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web. Let’s call it Google’s rating or grade for your webpage (0 = lowest, 10 = highest).
nd that’s when we start talking about SERPs

SERP means Search Engine Ranking Page. This is what you look at multiple times a day. It’s the (first) page of results Google gives you when you are searching for a keyword or a keyword combination.

For example: suppose you have the No 3 spot on the 1st page of Google on the term ‘social media marketing’. This means that your website has a SERP 3 on this specific combination of keywords.

Re: What is the difference between PR (page rank) and SERP (Search engine result page

Page rank is your website's position on the search engine result page. A higher page rank means a higher and better positioning of your website on the search engine result page whenever a related search is done.
SERP or search engine result page on the other hand refers to the page displayed by the search engine as a response to your keyword search with a list of all the websites that relate to your search.

Re: What is the difference between PR (page rank) and SERP (Search engine result page

PageRank (PR) is an algorithm used by Google Search to rank websites in their search engine results, but stopped working on 2010. So we recommend to go through the Domain Authority (DA) metric by MOZ for now.

SERPS are the position your website takes in the search results with a specific keyword.
