    What is java naming and directory service?

    JNDI provides the naming and directory functionality. Application consist of methods to perform standard directory operation, objects with attributes. By making use of the JNDI, it helps in storing and retrieving any type of data.

    In simple terms, Java naming convention is a rule to follow as you decide what to name your identifiers such as class, package, variable, constant, method etc.
