Since I don't know what the pupose was behind asking this one-liner question, I will keep this breif. Here are your top 3 plateforms -

    1.) Wordpress

    2.) Blogger

    3.) Joomla

Kindly be more specific while asking queries.

I would say Blogger, WP.com and WP.org are the three main blogging solutions. WP.org doesn't seem to really have any major competitor which is odd, really! You would think in 10 years, there would be another Wordpress out there right? I guess no one wants to touch the blogging software niche.

I would say, it's more of a personal choice. Personally, I have always preferred Wordpress blog over Google's blogger. But when I embarked on blogging in 2010, blogger was my favorite platform to blog on, because it was really popular, user-friendly and most importantly, free of cost. But as I kept blogging for more than 3 months, I realized that WordPress is bigger and better. So, switching to WordPress was no-brainer for me. I have never looked back since then

I agree! There is so much more Wordpress can do and more more freedom as well. Blogger is good for those who don't want to pay a lot but I don't see it being best for serious niche blogs. I could be wrong though.

Wordpress. You can customize it, add themes, and there are so many plugins. Blogger is the second option for me. It's a bit harder to use, but if you have decent knowledge on HTML, then you're fine. The last one for me would be Weebly. The drag and drop option is very handy if you're running a blog for videos or images.

There really isn't a top three for me. I primarily use wordpress and blogger is secondary. I did use joomla at one point but it was just annoying to use.

    Blogger, Wordpress, Tumblr.

Personally I have used only first two, but Tumblr is also quite a popular blogging platform.

I've personally only used WP.com and Blogger. The Wordpress was someone else's page that they used as an online magazine. I had an editor login which I could use to contribute article. It's was a really smooth setup, and gave you a lot of control. I had a Blogger blog for a while, and although it was user friendly, it was restrictive in terms of setup and how to make it standout.
