Yes, you can embed articles on your website from other sources, but be sure to mention the source of the article. This will help you to prevent duplicate issue which is much harmful for your website ranking.

Add a rel canonical link to your website to let the search engines know where the original content came from. If you simply place a URL to the source, you are risking facing a duplicate content penalty via the hands of Google...

It shows how clever google is if they can discover that you are pinching content from other sites without leaving a link back to source.

Putting contents from other source on your website with its reference won't be treated as a duplicate content. Even you can relate that content with some topic to elaborate it nicely. It will be helpful for your business to attract more and more people towards it in order to generate more revenue for your business. It is a clever way to make the website informative and to provide right info to the people.

Yes you can add the source link with rel canonical tag. This addition in your source makes search engines understand what the main page if you have double content. This doesn't mean that the spiders will not pay attention or punish you for having the other page.

    Eg: <link rel="canonical" href="url" />

It can be a good idea if you give credits to original page. if you already have a blog that has got a good authority and readers base, it is best to avoid doing this because it may create problem for you content duplication.

You can show the source link only but can't copy the content from other site.

its really bad to get content from other sources to copy and paste in your website. content is the king and it must be unique.
